SNOOPING

Curiosity killed the cat, and in Britannia it can certainly put you in hot water. To assess their marks, thieves and brigands often embrace the Snooping skill. But beware — Snooping is often looked on as an act of aggression.

Using Snooping
To use the Snooping skill to assess the contents of a player or NPC’s backpack:
  • Double-click the player or NPC to view his paperdoll screen.
  • Stand close to the player or NPC.
  • Double-click his backpack.
    • If successful, the backpack opens and the contents are revealed to you.

    Note: Look but don’t touch! The Stealing skill is necessary for filching the contents of that backpack you’ve snooped. And to steal from other players, you must be a member of the Thieves’ Guild!
